I had a Visual Sound Liquid Chorus and I have to say that was not a bad pedal at all. I would take it over a Boss pedal any day and the internal buffer is much better quality.

I have heard for metal and heavier tones that Zak Wylde model Chorus is pretty good and designed more for high gain tones.

I still like the TC Corona and will probably always keep it but I would like to give that Wampler Chorus a test drive as I dig their pedals more than most I have had. What I like about the TC is that you have 3 mode options which change the whole circuit and dynamic of the pedal. Most pedals you are stuck with a one track mind and the range just in that voice.

The Ibanez CF7 Stereo Chorus/Flanger has a switch for Stereo Chorus and Flanger, and a "Krazy" switch. It will make a lot of different sounds.
