With a name like the Squeeze, I would have guessed it was an Orange Squeezer clone.
I haven't tried one but it does seem a little expensive for what the outsides look like (just painted without graphics/labels). It would be interesting to see what the insides look like for build quality. I know a lot of people don't care about that stuff but you have to open it up to put a battery in there and, over the years, if there are wires flopping around in the way or the board is not mounted properly, it can cause issues. I wouldn't charge that much for something that didn't have labels/graphics. It's just to DIY looking to me and not professional looking. $99 tops since they did paint it. Maybe they are charging a lot since Ross compressors are kind of expensive these days. That's just my 2 cents. That being said, the Ross compressor is probably the best stompbox compressor so if they did clone the circuit exactly, used good parts, and did a decent job in assembly, it probably sounds pretty good.

took a chance on the Squeeze pedal. All I can say is WOW. I have used a friends vintage Ross and I must say this thing really mimics it well and it has a low noise floor. I asked the owner John about why no graphics. They are actually in the process of designing screen prints, so he gave me the option of trading this one in for one with a screen print when it is available. Very cool. I am considering their Texas Holdem overdrive which is available now with a screen print.
