Definitely Vox Bulldog Distortion!

It's amazing! Tube distortion, 2 channels, separate volume and gain settings for channels... can produce whole bunch of sounds. From nice crunch to agressive high gain.

I am a fan of the Rat as well, but my all time favorite has got to be a Big Muff! What can I say, I love the FUZZ!

Seymour Duncan makes a couple of versions of their Twin Tube pedals:

My favorite is this SFX-11 Twin Tube Blue Distortion guitar effects pedal because of the type of music I play it gets me real close. But for a more Fender Tweed sound SD makes the same thing as the SFX-03 Twin Tube Classic Preamp Pedal.

I am a big fan of the Skreddy Pink Flesh, I don't have one myself since Skreddy stopped making them and they are so hard to find, so if anyone ever hears of one for sale let me know... I am willing to spend a good chunk on one. Also EHX English Muff'n is a pretty great distortion pedal, you can get a lot of different sounds out of this thing.

I use a weird combo. I love/hate the distortion I get from my CrateGLX1200 head, but it is much better when using my EHX Holy Stain pedal for reverb and EQ.
