About 10 years or so ago, Musician's Friend had a sale on Arion MTE-1 Tubulator overdrive pedals. Having a Stereo Fat Chorus by Arion and being totally satisfied with it, I figured I could not go wrong by dropping 12 bucks on a pedal. Boy was I surprised! A more versatile Tubescreamer (to my ears). I still have it on my pedalboard to this day. I've been through a lot of OD pedals, but I keep coming back to this one. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with this pedal.

I have one. Not my favorite pedal but I'm not a TS kind of guy. Not many differences in the Tubulator and the TS. Corner frequency is different. The TS has a corner frequency of about 720Hz and the Tubulator has a corner frequency of about 605Hz and the Tubulator has a different value tone pot. I got one because there was kind of a little hype about them a while ago. Plugged it in and just heard a Tube Screamer. Boxed it back up and it just sits on the shelf. It's not bad if you like the TS circuit though.
