I'm a guitar player and songwriter. I play lots and lots of guitar. been playing on and off since '86. but dont really know a lot about the technical aspects of my equip. i just turn the nobs and go! realize i need to do more than that. hence the enrollment to Guitar Effects Forum... looking forward to learning more about my gear!

most of the time this site is deader than a amp with no tubes

I am a long time user of pedalboards and all sorts of pedals, I will be glad to help if I can. Be patient as I do not check this site much.
I wish it had more traffic but...

gearslutz.com has a fair amount of traffic, better than most sites. Most of the members are recording mavens which I know very little about myself.
I have been increasing the guitar posts and draw, some good stuff on there if you look around. Really cool thread of pictures of everyone's pedalboard which is like gear porn to me. I just started a new "show your FAV guitar" thread which is getting some nice response.
