Where do you buy guitar gear?

Do you have any prefered place for your gear aquisition?
Any good guitar pedal shop to recommend?

General stuff, I like to purchase at Musician's Friend. Boutique pedals, etc. I LOVE Fat Tone Guitars for that. I know Tone Factor is really good as well, but haven't bought anything from them yet.. but I plan on it soon.

I prefer to shop local
In Lima Ohio there's Bobs Music ,
Goodwin Music
those are BIG stores
and I work for Private sounds Music school we deal in student quality to semi pro stuff

AMS.com-American Musical Supply they offer a 3 payment plan no credit check or qualify, limited selections only downside

ZZsounds.com - offers a 4 payment no credit check no qualify plan, sweet, but also limited selection

MusiciansFriend.com - all time best for on line, they have a very wide range of selections but not anything really rare and boutique. No payment plan without qualify.

ProGuitarShop.com - all sorts of unique and rare hard to find pedals, no payment plan but a great selection of hard to find pedals also the best reviews and demos on the web

STORES:
I pretty much wrote off music and guitar stores, ridiculous markup, and mostly all generic gear. I just hate Guitar Center but I do trade off stuff once in a great while when I want something and the budget is gone, trade-ins are always a rip. Buy on-line you get what you want and it gets there within 3-5 days, most companies pay shipping. I must have a hundred websites for hard to find pedals some have and others do not.
