Default MXR Clamp??

I know that the older MXR noise suppressor sucks hard... volume unless you only use it to suppress your instrument. I've never really liked Boss pedals, it's mostly the stomp pad I don't like. I know that on the Boss NS-2, it has two control knobs -other then the mute function- one decay and the other threshold. To best use these, adjust each opposing the other. So it stands to say that the Clamp, with it's decay and threshold integrated and loss of the mute switch- that I have on my tuner- it's operation would be simpler=better. The MXR is smaller and I need all the room I can get on my P-board. So you can see that I'm leaning towards purchasing the Clamp! I've only had the opportunity to play with the Boss and it works great: does everything I want a suppressor to do. Does anyone have any reason I should wait for the Clamp to come to my region? Has anyone even had some hands on with Clampy?

Well thanks for all the feedback guys. I got the clamp and it rules! Because of the loop, it functions just like the Boss but is smaller and looks way cooler and lets face it... we are in this for the cool factor
