Question MultiFX + Amp Control questions.

Hey, I've spend the last few years just playing though a DigiTech RP-12, yeah it's pretty old, and then straight into a solid state Carvin Amp. The sound isn't that bad really, but I've joined a new band. They have a defined sound already, warm tube distortions. So I'm planning on making the switch to my Carvin MTS3200 50th Anniversary head, but I still want to make use of some of the built in effects of the RP-12, pitch shifters/chorus/delays/special reverbs etc ... My big question is how in the world would I control the amp channel and the RP-12 at the same time. Example: I'm playing distortion on the amp with a slight delay from the RP-12. I want to switch to the clean channel on the amp, and to a chorus/reverb from the RP-12. Is there a way to make this happen with one stomp? Hitting 2 buttons seems like a disaster waiting to happen, not to mention the switch wouldn't be clean. I'm running the RP-12 in the effects loop so I can make use of the distortion from the amp prior to the effects. Any ideas?
