Unhappy Strange problem with Korg Pitchblack tuner

Hello,

I am experiencing a strange problem with my KORG PITCHBLACK tuner.
It stared a few weeks ago, before that I was able to use it normally.

My korg pitchblack tuner turns off automatically whenever I try to tune G string.
It happens everytime I play G note all over the neck. It just turns off. Very strange!

I can tune other strings and detect other notes normally like before.
Problem occurs only when I play G note. And it turns tuner off everytime.

Have you ever experienced something like that?
Does anyone have any idea what this could be due to?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I hope this is an isolated issue and not all across the board for this pedal, because I'm ready to switch over to one from my Boss TU-2...

(Sorry I'm of no help, dude!)

I've been told any strobe tuner is much better than the digital ones that are all really close to each other. I hate all things Boss myself and just do not use anything they make, I hear the new tuner is at least bypass wired, about time.

TC makes a killer poly tuner for only $100 which is cool but I think I prefer single string because of the interaction and Hardwire has both a single string and a Poly for $100 which are both on par with anything else. I hear the strobes start around $200 but are much better. Finding them is sometimes a problem.

I do not keep a tuner in line because I do not need the loading of another box in my chain, true bypass does not save you from signal loss, still another set of jacks and wire to pass through which all loads the signal, just physics. I try feeding my tuner off a spare out or just keep it out of my chain. I am in the market for a new tuner but I do not plan to keep it in chain no matter what it is. Another great method is use one of those bypass loop boxes and toss it off out to a loop out of chain. I am not sure it should ever see all the notes in regular playing that somehow seems it would kill the calibration and tracking in time.
