Default Violin/string sound

Hi,

I'm not sure if such a thing exists, but i am looking for an effects pedal which gives my guitar a violin/string section sound.

Does anyone know of anything?

Thanks

Might want to check out the Guyatone Slow Volume. Might be the closest you can get with an analog pedal. Not sure if there are any DSP pedals out there that can do this.

The Slow Volume works better than the Boss Slow Gear and is a lot cheaper. These are basically volume swell pedals but give your guitar a kind of a bowed instrument quality.

I use the Digitech PDS 1002 for slight delay along with a Boss-FV50L for bowed effects.

There's also the EHX Micro Synth wich can be used to get that type of effect. This uses filters and volume swells to produce the sound.

Another option is the EBow.
